Crawford Hoying Planning 42 Luxury Condos in Mixed-use Project in Downtown Dublin

Those gathered at the Columbus Realtors’ awards night got some insight into Crawford Hoying Development Partners’ plans for the Bridge Street District in Dublin.

Principal Brent Crawford told those gathered at the Athletic Club the firm expects to build 42 luxury condominiums atop 20,000 square feet of retail and 20,000 square feet of office on land at 94 N. High St. and 100 N. High St.

What’s more, Crawford said the firm has 17 reservations for the condos, which will sell for $300,000 to $1.5 million a pop.

He said Crawford Hoying will break ground this September on that project as well as the$300 million Bridge Park development on the other side of the Scioto River. That mixed-used project will be connected to the North High side by a pedestrian bridge the city has pledge to build over the river.

Neither project has yet to be put forward for Dublin Planning & Zoning Commission review but they should get filed in the next month or so, Crawford said.

Bridge Park stems from a failed effort for another unspecified project in the suburb that Dublin officials had warned didn’t fit into the community’s plan for the district, he said. The city then turned the discussion to the site of the Bridge Pointe shopping center and a neighboring driving range along Riverside Drive north of Route 161/Bridge Street.

“Thirteen months ago,” Crawford told the commercial real estate crowd, “we didn’t even know the (Bridge Park development) site existed.”

All told, Crawford said the development firm has $500 million worth of projects in the pipeline, including the Worthington Place apartments and mixed-use projects in Powell andalong the downtown riverfront in Dayton.
